Not just how it looks. How it runs.
UX design, websites and the custom platforms that run your small business behind the scenes and keep you connected to customers.
Most small business owners don’t need a prettier website. They need one that converts and, often, a piece of software nobody has built for them yet: a booking page that keeps clients coming back without five texts to find a time, a portal where they can check status instead of emailing you, a dashboard that tells you what is actually working.
Most small businesses don’t lose customers because the product isn’t good enough. They lose them because the brand doesn’t hold together: a website that doesn’t match the Instagram, a quote that looks improvised, a process that feels different every time. We can help you take your brand identity, the website and the process behind it as one system, so every touchpoint earns the same trust and exudes the same business mission.
Two different logos, two different colour schemes, two different voices. Customers can’t tell whether they’re looking at the same business, so they hesitate.
If you have to explain what you do before anyone understands it, your website isn’t doing its job. That explanation belongs on the page.
The work is excellent and the paperwork looks improvised. That gap is the single fastest way to lose a customer who was almost ready.
The customers who know you already trust you. They’ve met you, they’ve seen the work. Someone finding you online has none of that. Your website has to earn the same confidence before you ever get to say a word.
What we do
Most businesses buy these one at a time from different people and spend years trying to make them match. Take one on its own or take them together, designed to fit from the start.
What actually builds trust
We help make sure that shows up the second someone finds you online. Let’s make your business look as good online as it already is in person.
Your website, your Instagram, your storefront and your invoice all read as the same business. Customers notice the moment they don’t.
Not everyone. The right one. A brand built to appeal to anyone usually ends up connecting with no one.
How something looks and reads tells a customer whether you’re serious, long before they read a word of copy.
A confusing checkout, an inconsistent process or a slow reply undoes the trust the brand just spent months building.
What isn’t working gets fixed. What is working gets expanded. A brand is maintained, not finished.
Someone who meets you at a market, in your shop or through a referral should find that same trustworthy business when they look you up later. One brand presence, wherever they run into you.
How it works
We start with a call to understand your business, your customers and how your brand shows up today: website, social, print, in person. You leave with a clear picture of the gap between how you want to be seen and how you’re actually being seen.
We design the system that closes that gap: identity, website, product interface or the internal process behind it. Built to work together, not as one-off pieces, and scoped on a call before anything starts.
Once it is live we look at what is working and what is not: the pages people actually read, the step where enquiries stall, the places the brand has drifted. A brand is maintained, not finished.

Yes, where it genuinely earns its place. The useful question is not which AI tool to buy but which part of your process is slow, repetitive or inconsistent, and whether AI is the right fix for that specific thing. We design AI into products and workflows rather than bolting it on. On Design Book, a home planning app, the AI builds its prompt from the selections a homeowner has already saved, so it works from real decisions instead of a generic request. For a small business it usually looks more ordinary than the hype suggests: turning enquiries into a consistent intake, drafting replies from answers you have already written or producing first drafts in your own brand voice. Where AI would only add a moving part without saving you time, we will tell you that instead of selling it to you.
A logo and brand kit typically takes 3 to 4 weeks. A brand identity plus website typically takes 6 to 10 weeks. Product and platform design runs longer and is scoped in phases. The single biggest factor in the timeline is how quickly you can get content, photos and feedback back, not the design work itself.
A template is genuinely fine when your business is simple, your competitors are weak and you need to be online next week. A custom design is worth it when you need to explain something complicated, when trust is the deciding factor in the sale or when you are competing against businesses with much bigger budgets. Most small businesses are better served by a well-chosen template plus strong content strategy than by an expensive custom build they cannot maintain.
