Who you’re actually hiring

Paige Simon Design is a small design studio in St. Louis, Missouri, led by Paige Simon. We work across brand identity, website design and development, SaaS and platform product design and the service design that connects them, how a customer actually moves through your business.

Past clients include law firms, a home health agency, boutiques, restaurants, a Lake of the Ozarks resort, an industrial auction house, coaches and national beverage brands. The work has run from a single splash page to environmental graphics installed inside Enterprise Center, home of the St. Louis Blues.

Why small businesses specifically

Large companies have brand teams to keep things consistent. Small businesses have an owner doing six jobs, and consistency is usually the first thing to slip. That is rarely a taste problem. It is a systems problem. Nobody ever wrote down what the brand is, so every new post, invoice or page becomes a fresh decision.

The fix is to design the system once, document it and hand it over in a form you can actually run. That is why every project ends with training and documentation rather than a dependency on us.

How we work

• Strategy before pixels. Every project opens with a call about your business and your customers, not about colour preferences.
• Honest scoping. If a template and better copy would serve you better than a custom build, we will say so. It is a smaller invoice and a better outcome.
• You own everything. Files, accounts, documentation. No hostage hosting, no locked platforms, no recurring fees to an agency.

Where we work

Based in St. Louis, serving the whole metro, St. Charles, Kirkwood, Webster Groves, Clayton, Chesterfield, Maplewood, Ballwin, O'Fallon and St. Peters, plus clients anywhere in the United States working remotely. Local projects can include in-person meetings and press checks; remote projects run on video calls and shared documents.
