Cruzan Rum

Cruzan Rum sponsored the “Awaken Your Island Spirit” fundraiser at Shady Gators in Lake of the Ozarks, created to support families affected by tropical storms. The event needed a focused digital destination that could capture the energy of a summer-at-the-lake celebration while communicating a meaningful purpose.

Instead of building a large campaign site, we designed a concise splash page that gives visitors exactly what they need: the event story, essential details, sponsor presence and a clear path to participate. The experience was planned for quick mobile use, recognizing that many guests would discover and share the event through social channels.

The visual direction brings together Cruzan’s island identity and the atmosphere of the Lake of the Ozarks. Color, movement and bold imagery create an immediate sense of place, while disciplined typography keeps event information legible and the fundraising message present.

Content was kept upbeat but purposeful, inviting people into the experience without letting the celebration overshadow the cause. The result is a bright, shareable landing page that connects sponsor, venue, event and mission in one cohesive story and makes it easy for interest to become participation.
